What is your wish for the World?
We invite you to share anything that is close to your heart, something you want to do, be, visions you have for the world. Share your passion, whatever it may be! Parents of younger children, talk to your child or perhaps read a book with them to get their creativity going about their dream or wish for the world.
All content must be in the positive spirit of helping people, animals, the environment, cultures, etcetera . . .
Ideas to get the creative juices flowing:
Reading books on helping to make the world a better place, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, mentoring children, creating peace, no guns, loving each other, building community, no fighting, protecting our planet, protecting animals, recycling, being kind to each other, helping stop global warming, not wasting resources (water, gas, oil, etc). Of course, the list could go on and on, we are sure you have so may ideas for their dreams and wishes for the world. These are only a few ideas—go with what you feel is close to you heart.
Express yourself, let yourself shine through and create your art and statement.
Using colored pens or pencils, crayons, paint, pen and ink, or any other non-smearing medium, draw your artwork representing your wish or dream within the 5” x 5” square on the entry form, then write your wish or dream, short poem, or 100-word essay underneath your drawing. Submission deadline is October 15, 2008.
